Initially, the question I am particularly interested in each founder: Why Veggieman? Why vegetarian and vegan food?
My motivation is to offer people fresh, healthy and especially unpolluted food in organic quality. I just wanted to add a healthy alternative to the culinary offerings in Nuremberg.
Why then specializing in vegetarian and vegan food?
As a passionate cook, I quickly realized that the vegetarian and vegan cuisine is much more varied than I had imagined. When sampling and testing of the courts, the decision then fell fairly quickly. I wanted to get away from the previous standard food and wanted to show people how many great other flavors there are out there.
Worth it for meat eaters a trip with you?
People are again indeed always very skeptical. But many of my guests have told me they feel quite different when they have eaten with me – better and more energetic. The body responds yes to the things that is fed to him. And on organic quality of the body responds very positively.
So just try it?
Yes! Just try and see for yourself. To the fear of the unknown – the vegetables – to take, I have typical entry courts. For example Penne with cheese sauce or gnocchi pan. I will always be said of meat-eaters that it tastes good.
Come many meat eaters to you?
I would say that most of my guests are no vegetarians or vegans, but simply people who want to eat healthy. Many people now know the consequences of excessive meat consumption and pay more attention to their diet.
On your Facebook page you present yes always vegetarian and vegan treats. What it can I incorporate with you?
I test every week determines 10 new dishes. One or two make it then shortlisted. Entry dishes there are with me always. It also all depends on what foods are currently available: What turns me on the wholesale market, from which I can conjure up delicious and fresh food?
So a visit to you is always exciting?
Clear! If you eat with me, it is very likely that one may taste appetizers or desserts. For me it’s always very interesting to see how people react to my vegan desserts.
What are you planning for the future?
Currently I only open in the evenings, because I have to prepare virtually all day on it. but I get a lot of requests, if I can not open at lunchtime, because many people want to eat healthy and fresh in the lunch break. Soon I will also have one or open two days a week at lunchtime. Thus there is a healthy and fresh alternative also for lunch.
